Apply for a Historic Houses Foundation grant
If you think your proposed project (relating to a building) qualifies and would like to apply for a grant then please ensure you read through both the Pre-Application Form and the Full Application Form and consider thoroughly the information you will need to provide.
We do not want you to incur substantial costs in preparing your application so we require that you complete a Pre-Application Form first so that we can confirm if your project fits our criteria. This can be submitted via email or by post.
Applications for projects that relate to the restoration of a work of art do not require a Pre-Application but must be submitted using the dedicated form for this purpose, please find the forms below.
We will normally respond within 28 days.

Step 3
Complete the Full Application Form and return in the post with related documents.
Step 2
If your pre-application is succesful, the CHF will arrange a site visit to make an initial check of the suitability and feasibility of the project prior to completion of the Full Application Form.
