Name change: Country Houses Foundation

As from the end of June, the Country Houses Foundation has reverted to its original name and will no longer be known as the Historic Houses Foundation. This change is to avoid the understandable confusion with the similarly named Historic Houses.

The Foundation will continue to work closely with Historic Houses and will always welcome grant applications from Historic Houses members as an entirely independent organisation. The CHF’s core mission will remain; to give grants for the preservation of buildings, and small grants for the conservation of works of art in country house collections open to the public.
